Bio: After a career as a professor of French and Women's Studies, I have retired to the Lake of the Ozarks and devoted my full time to weaving, spinning, and fiber arts. I have been weaving since 1992, and have shown my work in various art shows in Iowa and Missouri. In 2012 I was awarded the Certificate of Excellence in Weaving by the Handweavers Guild of America. I have taught workshops in tapestry, lace weaves, basic weaving, and other topics. I have taken many workshops from renowned weavers, spinners, and dyers. I use top quality materials (primarily natural fibers) to create clothing, rugs, tapestries, and household linens. You can find my creations at etsy.com/shop/CraneCoveCreations.
